Big Sister, Little Sister is a mentorship initiative that pairs adolescent girls (“little sisters”) with young community leaders (“big sisters”) to guide them in self-discovery, career development, and personal growth, while fostering confidence, leadership skills, and a strong, supportive community network.
THE CHALLENGE
Poverty, unequal resource allocation, and traditional biases often inhibit girls’ educational opportunities, personal development and long-term career prospects.
OUR UNIQUE APPROACH
Selecting mentors who are active community changemakers ensures the guidance is deeply rooted in local resilience and empowerment.
