ONLINE CAREER HUB

Globally, it is more difficult for women to find employment than it is for men. According to the International Labor Organization (ILO), in Tanzania, 72 percent of male graduates have a good likelihood of employment, whereas just 47 percent of female graduates do. In addition to having a low rate of employment, women often have trouble getting the jobs they want.

A greater number of women than men are working in temporary and part-time jobs, as well as in low-paying sectors and occupations. Msichana Kwanza online hub is a one-stop-shop community for girls and young women that helps them become more self-aware by providing them with access to quality workforce readiness, resources, training, and information that enables them to make informed decisions regarding their professional career development and entrepreneurship opportunities. This online center works to make sure that girls and young women have the same rights and opportunities as boys and men to make and carry out economic decisions and share in the benefits of those decisions.
